i just came back from the movies. i saw this one local horror movie - Congkak. well, there's nothing much to talk about the movie, apart from the weak storyline. what else is new right?
but... what prompted me to write this post was these rude late-20's or early-30's b1tch35 who were seating behind me. they were yacking away like nobody's business. i may have looked over my shoulders and told them to zip it 4 or 5 times... but did they stop? No! they went on and commented on every single line and moment in the movie like they were watching it in the comfort of their living room.
"eh, terrer nya dia buat-buat macam nak tidur" ("woah, he's so good at pretending that he's sleepy")
"kenapa dia nak bukak pintu?" ("why would she want to open the door?")
WTF!!
each time i told them to shut up, they came up with these absurd remarks, among which... "sukati kita lah nak cakap. ni panggung wayang" (it's our business. and we are at the cinema, ok?)
at the end of the movie, i confronted them and asked them sarcastically "is this your first time at the movies that you didn't know the cinema etiquettes?"
"bukan kita aje yang berborak. orang lain pun ada..." ("we weren't the only ones talking")
WTF!! they acted that they were at no fault whatsoever. they left hastily and even said "belah lah" ("take a hike")
if only there weren't any laws on slapping or punching them in the face, i would have! i also wished that my elder brother was there with me because i'm sure he has a lot to say to those biyatches...
geram tul!

well some people seriously lacks manner... whisper quietly if you must, but if you're at the point where people are glaring, it's time to stop! grrr... i'll hit them for you if i were there too... :p
ReplyDeletekick 'em!!! kick 'em!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletegrrrrrr!!!
so sayeth sila
wished you guys were there too! he he he.
ReplyDeletei wouldn't even think to resort to violence if i were you guys. I would rather tell the cinema supervisor (if there is any?) about the situation and ask hin/her to rectify the problem. it should be their job not ours to confront rude people. cinema run by good people would train their staff to deal with such situation.
