Day 4: Fire alarm, Brunch and Outlet Mall

  • Azizul and I woke up around 4 in the morning. Not because of jetlag. But to the deafening sound of the fire alarm. Shoot! Apparently somebody in the hotel had pulled the alarm and it took a while for the Fire Department and Courtyard to straighten things out.
  • Despite the fire alarm incident, we showed up at Emily & Gene's Sunday brunch at 8. We left after getting ourselves some food and later came back down to meet up with the rest of the gang.
  • In the afternoon, we headed over to Citadel Outlet just outside of LA. I didn't buy anything other than lunch. Azizul did his best to inject money to the US economy. he he

    bummer about the fire alarm though. hope you got back to sleep after that.
