Try telling that to Carrefour (a French hypermarket chain) at Jalan Peel. I was there earlier to grab a few things on my grocery list, and they played some Eid songs on the speakers. I was lost for words...
well, 1st day of Ramadan marks the countdown to Eid in 30 days...!! biasak ler tuh, kasik customer ambik "feel" nak beraya... bila dah dapat "feel" maka shopping pun bertambah2 ler (termasuk membeli benda2 yg tak berkenaan dan tak diperlukan)... that's commercialization of religious events/festivals for you...!!
ah well, not as bad as hearing christmas song on radio on 25th june... i'm not kidding!
