After Iju's wedding, my second big bro took my parents to Cherating, Pahang for a vacation. I tagged along too... unfortunately I had to do my own driving. Hehehe...
We left close to 11am, stopped for lunch at 1 and then reached the hotel at 3. For the rest of the day, we pretty much got settled at our rooms and lounged.
We spared the second day as fun-in-the-sun day. The kids and the kids-in-us spent most of the morning at the beach and at the pool in the late afternoon. Of course, there was the lunch and dinner at the nearby Kemaman town.
The view from my room. Not too shabby I'd say

This was taken right after breakfast, so we haven't changed to our swimming gears.

Let's find the feet and tickle them!

Still looking for the other foot... where is it?

Ika and her turtle

Son's turn to be entertained

In Kemaman, we came upon this signboard to "Pantai Teluk Mak Nik" or known in English as "Monica Bay". Mak-Nik-A Beach with the Ganu slang, we presumed. hehe.

On the 3rd day, we ventured to Kuala Terengganu, roughly 150km away from Cherating. This is the first time I've ever gone beyond Cherating/Kemaman on the east coast. Seriously. Still a lot more places to go to next time...
Dengan anak-anak.... buah kat Masjid Kristal (With the nephew & niece at the Crystal Mosque)

Another shot of the Masjid Kristal

After performing the prayer at the mosque, we headed out for the monument park. Since it was pretty huge place for dad to walk around, we opted for the tram ride. After that, we left mom & dad, my SIL and the sleeping nephew at the cafe and did some walking in the park.
On the tram

Some of the replicas at the park.

The replica will do for now. :)

King Kong :)

While we were at the Taj (cewah.. hehe), my SIL called and asked us where we were. She answered yes to my question if they wanted to leave by quoting our dad, "Mana diaorang tu? Tak balik-balik lagi?" (Why aren't they back yet?) So we had to keep it short. Hehehe.
On the way back, we stopped by at Pasar Payang. Although we arrived when it was almost the end of business day, we still left the place with a few shopping bags :)
Typical sight at any shopping outlets. While the women are doing their thing in the shops, the boys hang out at the outside. :)

The next day is our 4th and final day at Cherating. We did our best to make full use of our morning at the beach and the pool... It seemed that the rain clouds followed us all the way back to KL.
So where do I want to go for a holiday next year? My SIL has some sort of one year training in Melbourne, so that's one possible option. ;)
