EU trip - Day 16 - London - Curtain's finally closing

The last day of my trip. The day I was dreading has arrived much, much sooner...

Today, I woke up to the smell of nasi lemak and roti canai from the kitchen, accompanied by a nice frothy cappucino sprinkled with a dash of cinnamon...

Ok that didn't happen. Hahaha. We had muesli for breakfast but if you had seen the menu that Firouz had planned for, you wouldn't even bother with breakfast. You might even go as far as wishing time could tick by faster.

If Firouz had his way, he wouldn't choose such a time to hang or chill. He felt bad for dissing me most of the times. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Seeing him melatah (err, what is it in English?) was so much fun :)

Here are pictures and a clip of him playing with his new toy. No melatah here. Only plain good time brulee-ing. Surely, these come with a stern "Don't try this at home... unless you really, really know what you're doing" warning.
Filling 'em up with sugar

Sprinkle, sprinkle

Almost done

The last one.  Woohooo!
Yummmmmmy! And this was after he had to leave out 2 items from his planned menu due to unavailable items.  (Zul, rugi woo tak datang. hehehe)

The afternoon was spent with great food and awesome company once the rest of Firouz's friends had shown up. Ooops, we did it again - We didn't take a single picture. Bah humbug!

I try my best to name the menu, but Firouz is the best person to do so.
- Ikan cod masak asam Cina (Chinese-style sweet and sour cod?)
- Daging masak lemak 'scotch bonnet' (Beef cooked in spicy coconut milk with tumeric?)
- Stir fried vege with foochuk and so'un
- Pajeri nenas (pineapple curry?) with quail eggs
- Pandan creme brulee
- Passion fruit cake.

Alas, it was time to leave. I have get back to Azizul's place, pack and make my way to the airport.
Thanks soooo much Firouz. I'd make it up when you come to KL. And a big Hi to your friends!

Azizul was super nice to even accompany me to LHR.
Thanks man, for going above and beyond to host me - offering your place, taking time off from your busy schedule to show me round, bringing me out makan-makan, et al.

That's it folks. It's all over. And thanks for sticking with me through out these posts. Hmm... it felt like the Oscars lak with all these thank yous. LOL!

... till the next adventure!
