So on this day, we boarded a train to Würzburg. It was roughly 55 minutes away by one of the faster trains.

| Where Bamberg, Würzburg amd Nuremberg are in Bavaria |
| Places that were covered during the visit |
From the train station we walked towards Würzburg Residence but we stopped for coffee and cakes on the way. You can tell what our priorities were :).
| yummmms |
| I opted for whipped cream for my iced coffee |
The streets and parks surrounding the Residence Palace were packed with runners alike. I googled and got to know the event was called Würzburg Residenzlauf (Residenz Run Würzburg).
The
Würzburg Residence counts as another UNESCO World Heritage site that I've visited on this trip. To recap, Bamberg is the first one.

While waiting for the English tour to commence, we took a walk in the gardens. When it did start, it was a bit upsetting to know that no picture taking was allowed in the residence. "
Is this the 19th century?" whisper was overheard in my ears :D. I did as Firouz stated it,
naughtily, snapped one picture after the tour, but it wasn't of the second largest ceiling fresco in the world. I tried googling which fresco claimed the title, but all of the top searches listed the one at Würzburg Residence as the largest. The tour girl did say the largest one is not a popular one.

| Tulips! My favorite flowers, but the ones that they have here are a bit different |
| Cool panoramic shot |
| :) |
| Following the direction from my photographer :) |
| A couple of ladies besides us said, Peace out! hehehe |
| Err, whatcha doing? |
| you didn't see this OK? :D |
After the tour ended, we had a late lunch at a restaurant by the river Main. Great lunch topped with a wonderful view of the Festung Marienberg. The fortress is only open until 5pm daily, so we had to forego of visiting it. Add another reason to come back ;).
| Had to put on the glasses because the sun was very glaring |
| "Now, who's leading in the citation numbers?" |
| Salmon and the so-called rice cooked in coconut milk with Asian vegetables... but it didn't taste like nasi lemak tho' :D |
What's a great lunch, without dessert right? The gelato at the nearby gelataria was delicious, but since we ordered a normal looking one we didn't take a single picture; as compared to the elaborate ones that people ordered, e.g. sundaes, spaghetti-ish (I'm not kidding! :D).
| Now, that's a sight to behold |
| Atten-hut! |
| Where's Waldo? |
When we got back to Bamberg, we had sushi and noodle soups at a Japanese restaurant. No Malaysian food so far and I want it to stay that way ;).
